I’ve been struggling to get back into reading. I generally like realistic sci fi, and Michael Crichton’s books are some of my favorites. I have been reading Machines Like Me, and I have enjoyed it, but it doesn’t have clear stopping points. I need something broken up more so I can read a small chapter on a lunch break here and there. I don’t want short stories because I’d like something to at least keep me interested in coming back. But something that’s broken down so I can leave it after 15 minutes on a break.
It doesn’t have to be sci fi but that’s usually what I lean towards.

Couldnt get into his newer stuff but Dan Brown’s first 4 books have very short exciting chapters.
Any of the “What If” or “How To” books by Randall Munroe
