Hi! I love reading but only if I’m interested in the subject. I love thrillers that have a sci-fi or technology aspect. I’ve just finished watching severence, black mirror and gen v on TV and love a sci-fi thriller or something I can theorise about, but haven’t come across a lot of books that scratch the same itch. Any recommendations are appreciated! Thank you!

    1. Read Michael Crichton’s books. A lot of his stories became movies. I know it sounds cliche that the books are way better than the movies, but seriously the Andromeda Strain and The Sphere are amazing stories.

    2. Michael Crichton’s **Timeline** has a group of grad students travel back to 14th century France to investigate a mystery, while another group stays in the present to protect/assist them. Much of the story is set in the past and presents the brutality of life back then.

Blake Crouch’s **Dark Matter** is a sci-fi thriller with the protagonist crossing dimensions.

    3. William Gibson’s Blue Ant trilogy, *Pattern Recognition, Spook Country*, and *Zero History* could potentially check the boxes.
