Hello, I want to give my brother (22) a book this christmas. He almost never reads but I think he would genuinly enjoy it very much. He just hasn’t encountered the right books.
One of the reasons why, I think, is because he is gay and many books he had to read for school were always heteronormative.
However, he is not quite “fanatically” queer. Therefore, I am looking for a queer book, that is not only about being homosexual, but also has an exciting plot, apart from that.
Other interests he has are, I suppose student life, Italian food, traveling.

He might enjoy what if it’s us by Adam Silvera and Becky Albertelli. It’s kind of a love but one of the characters is a student so it also includes that. Really good read. There’s also a sequel. Another pretty popular book might be Simon vs the homo sapiens agenda.
