I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump and haven’t read anything in a while that really drew me in. Looking for something that I’ll keep reaching for and that won’t put me to sleep. Prefer something new-ish, and I don’t love romance.
A Short Stay In Hell by Steven (Stephen?) L. Peck.

I’d recommend Piranesi by Susanna Clarke! It’s quite a page turner and is pretty unique, hopefully you’ll check it out.

The Saxon Tales by Bernard Cornwell. The TV show the last kingdom is based off it.

It was project hail Mary by Andy weir for me. It’s sci-fi and won’t say too much else, but it’s soo damn gripping.

I just finished “The Devil You Know: Encounters in Forensic Psychiatry”
Book by Eileen Horne and Gwen Adshead. I find people’s behaviours fascinating. It’s about 10 different criminals and how their lives and mental illnesses shaped their decisions.
