I have been trying to build up my TBR list and have started looking into books that won various awards. I’ve found with English-language awards like the Pulitzer prize of Booker award, it is easy to find English-speaking booktubers and such who review these books, sometimes even people who are going over every single book that won a certain award, and I often need to read either a lengthy description or a review of the book to inspire me to put it on my TBR. But with awards for books originally published in other languages, it seems a lot harder to get information about them, even a detailed description. For instance, I looked at the International Prize for Arabic Fiction, and when trying to look up the individual books that won or were shortlisted, there were no English-language wikipedia descriptions for any of them, many were not on Amazon at all, and those that were had vague descriptions that weren’t enough to get me excited about them and didn’t have any reviews. Is there any blog/youtube channel/etc. in English that goes over the books that won prestigious awards in non-English languages so I could get a better sense of what they are about and consider which ones to put on my TBR list? I don’t want to only read books originally published in English.
