In chapter 40 of James Herbert’s, Ash written in 2012 there are two character speaking about a plot point in the book called the inner court. While this chapter is interesting because it gives some well needed background as to what/who the inner court are, James Herbert just comes out with what seems like GB propaganda. Speaking about how amazing (now king) Charles III and his two sons are, that they have spines of steel and are intelligent beyond belief…. I just read that paragraph and it sent a shiver down my spine.
