My brother (28) is very specific and it’s hard to guess what’d he’d like. I’ve bought him books in the past and had little success. I know he likes murder mystery, gay romance, and historical fiction. He has already read every single Agatha Christie book and owns all the ones he loves. He loves the books by Mckenzie Lee, A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, A Noblemans Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks, and A Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy. He also loves the book Red, White, and Royal Blue. He also loves math, puzzles, riddles and puns.
What I really need is a book that is at least 2 out of 3: murder mystery, gay romance, and/or historical fiction. Bonus points for riddles/puzzles.

I think he might like some of Andrew Taylor’s novels, he does some fantastic historical crime novels. The Ashes of London is brilliant, a complex mystery and really engaging.
