I’m looking for a book to read with a friend who’s new to reading. Something that has a
lot of gossip and drama in it, not too difficult, and a page turner. He wants it to be about rich people but honestly anything that’s full of drama/ makes your jaw drop would work. We’re planning on weekly discussions so something that’s eventful would be ideal.

The First Wives Club is a classic book about the inner lives of the super rich. It’s also hilarious and they run a baller sting on their exes. It is definitely from a feminine perspective though.
Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less is an older Jeffrey Archer book about four strangers who all get scammed out of money by a super rich guy, then band together to steal it back. One of the guys is minor British nobility, and the sting takes them to the casinos in Monaco, Royal Ascott, Claridges, and I think the QE2.
The Crazy Rich Asians trilogy is a ton of fun and feels like a vacation because of the location
Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton. It’s a lot easier to read than you might think!
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
[**Big Little Lies** by Liane Moriarty](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/33516773)
