Gifts for my hubby with distinct taste in books (historical documentary, Sam Harris, Dostojevskij)

I want to give my hubby some books as part of an advent calendar this year and his taste is so different from mine that I need some help 😅. His favorite author is Dostojevskij, but recently he has read a lot of Sam Harris. He also likes books about journalists that writes about different war/conflicts. If anyone here is from Norway, there are authors named Åsne Seierstad and Erika Fatland that he has read a lot of. Also «giftbooks» like «USA på 200 sider» (USA in 200 pages, norwegian book) are on his have-read-list. Please help 😅
