i love historical fiction, fantasy, dark fairytales. i love stories that are witchy, spiritual, magical, spooky, and cozy. i love stories that help me learn about a part of history i didn’t know much about before. i love writing that is simple yet lyrical and poetic. i love strong female characters. i don’t mean strong like they’re a bad ass warrior but strong like they handle challenges with grace and never give up.
some of my favorite books i’ve read recently:
– the nightingale by kristin hannah
– circe by madeline miller
– the invisible life of addie larue by v.e. schwab
– the exiles by christina baker kline
– nocturne by alyssa wees
doesn’t have to fit exactly everything i just wrote, just trying to give an idea about my taste. thank you! 🙂

Cackle by Rachel Harrison is essentially about a woman finding herself and realising her potential. It’s a cozy and witchy read.
