I’m looking for someting with a totally unhinged non human female main character
Oĥh…. I know its a lot of requirements at ones but I burned out and I’m liking for something to enjoy. Plus point if the main character is some tipe of monster. Thet includes vampires, demons, ghouls, etc..
“The Beauty” by Aliya Whiteley is. . . something else. It’s a horror novella set a decade or so after a plague kills all the AFAB people. A young man gets kidnapped by a mushroom monster that, shall we say, intimately resembles a woman. It’s wild. But the man is the MC.
“The Deep” by Rivers Solomon is about a mermaid who isn’t UNHINGED so much as autistic and traumatized. But it’s a good, intense, quick read.

{{Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree}} has a female ogre MC who is trying to retire from military life. I wouldn’t call her unhinged, but it’s a fun, light, short book, so you might try it.

I can’t meet all your requirements at once, but the 2 Necromancers series might hit a few in pieces for you. One of the 2 Necromancers is a human female child. Two other major characters include an Elf demand fire mage (who is very unhinged) and a female vampire (she doesn’t show up until later in the series). There is also a female side character who is an overpowered paladin that finds very obviously dangerous and deadly creatures cute. The first book in the series is 2 Necromancers, A Bureaucrate, and an Elf.

Joe Haldeman’s _Camouflage_ kinda

{{The Mere Wife by Maria Dahvana Headley}} — modern retelling about Grendel’s mother
Lost-Phrase on
{{To Ravish a Rogue by C.M. Nascosta}} — cozy, historical fantasy romance novel, pirate romance, non-human characters, >!the ‘unhinged’ one is the FMC’s sister!<
