Easier english classics to read (for a non native English speaker)
Hi there! my English skills aren’t what they used to be so I wanted to know if you could suggest me some easier to read classics/books so I can finally get back to reading again ❤️
Stuff for slightly younger readers maybe? Harry Potter or His Dark Materials.
The Chronicles of St Mary’s is a favourite of my German friends its time travel with actual history thrown in and very British humour.
May I also suggest some graphic novels if you want a bit of visual context, Guy Delisle travel memoirs are very good, Shenzhen, Pyongyang, Burma and Jerusalem.
You could also get the English language versions of some of your favourites from your country.
