My little brother is getting into reading and asked me to try and find a book for him. He suggested he wants something that follows a character as they learn about their family and family’s past through a series of things (like diaries, photos, other people, objects, clues, etc.)
It can be any genre, I think he’d enjoy dystopian or fantasy. He likes nonfiction as well so that’s on the table.
He showed me the game “What Remains of Edith Finch” as an example for a storyline he really enjoys and where he came up with the idea for the kind of book he wants.
