Z For Zachariah would be a good 1st book
What do you think is some theme/type you would like?
I think Agatha Christie – The Murder of Roger Ackroyd is very nice, easy, short. It will make you wonder and keep going. As a non native speaker, I read that in English and I found easy enough!
My first book after going through the same thing was Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. The books are short and hilarious.
If you have a hard time sitting in one place recommend audio books so you can go for a walk while reading. It’s what hooked me.
The Promise – Danielle Steele. It’s what got me reading.
