Hello! I have an important question regarding box spots/foxing.
I had a particular IKEA bookshelf for all my books with special customisations and had to leave it unattended for 5-6 months, so when I was cleaning it up after that time, I found that all my books had brown/ rust-coloured spots on the top of the books. Should it be normal foxing as the books are no older than two years or it might be due to mold as the room did have a humid temperature? Should I isolate those from other books? Any help would be much appreciated as the 50ish books were my prized possessions and it’s extremely sad to see them now like this.
