Hello everyone, this sub has truly reignited my passion for reading. As a child I used to read a lot but since starting med school, really didn’t get much opportunity but my New Year’s resolution for this year was to read atleast 6 novel and I am already up to 5! So far read and thoroughly enjoyed the following in 2023: Circe, The Witches Heart, Stone Blind, Kaikeyi. Have also tried Ariadne, Elektra (both by Jennifer saint) but sadly didn’t enjoy them so couldn’t finish. So would love if anyone has any recommendations on books which focus on retelling of mythology without a focus on romance and with a female protagonist.
