Hi! I’m looking for books narrated by someone with good intentions that eventually becomes the villain of the story for whatever reason.
I really want the book to focus on the transformation of that person. Ideally they would be the main character.
I have seen similar posts suggest books like Vengeful by V.E. Schwab which doesn’t fit what I’m looking for because I don’t want the character to start off already evil. I also saw someone suggest Six of Crows, which doesn’t really feature villains imo and certainly not a change into villainy.
The best example of this that I’ve read is The Young Elites, which is wonderful.
