Suggest me a wintery, cozy book to read on Christmas Eve. It can be Christmas themed, but it doesn’t have to be. Any genre! I prefer romance, memoirs, and historical fictions and my husband prefers fantasy, mysteries, and thrillers so any + all suggestions are appreciated!

Look at the Christmas books by Anne Perry
[*A Child’s Christmas In Wales*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Child%27s_Christmas_in_Wales) by Dylan Thomas is a classic, and rightly so.
*Nine Taylors* by Dorothy L. Sayers.
*Hogfather* by Terry Pratchett.
For a light and cozy mystery, Jane and the Twelve Days of Christmas! It’s a fiction novel with Jane Austen as a detective, so a good blend of historical fiction and mystery that you mentioned liking. It’s really well-researched.
My annual Christmas read is Hogfather, by Terry Pratchett. Funny, with poignant moments, and a huge serving of wit.
