I am having some trouble deciding which of these books to read first. I got them all cuz they were very cheap at a local store. The list is:
Kite Runner
The Stranger (Camus)
Blood Meridian
1984
I also have the LOTR trilogy but i was planning on reading that after i read 1-2 of these books.

Kite Runner, if you are looking for something easy to start with
1984 if you like political satire
Blood Meridian if you wish good literature that’s a bit complicated and at times confusing
The Stranger if you are philosophically inclined, but existentialism is kind of a teenager’s philosophy
