I have just finished The Mirror Man and it was ok.
I have a bit of a random thriller taste. My favourite all time books are ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’ and the Tom Rob Smith trilogy of ‘Child 44.’ I like crime novels but I dislike detective series.
I like books that can get me hooked within the first couple of chapters and keep me guessing.
Help me please.

Almost anything by Jeffrey Deaver.
It’s a little dark and it has quite a bit of romance but Natalie bennet has a series called ‘Badlands’ and I was hooked for all 7 books
