I’m looking for book suggestions with a taboo relationship like during Jim Crowe era, black and white relationships.
Or any other taboo race/ethnicity related books.
No lgbtq.
I would prefer the book to have the romance as a secondary plot, the romance gets in the way of the characters doing something.
Also please avoid a book with a weird cover. Guys with abs for instance.
