I have recently discovered the joy of reading fantasy. I want to read the fantasy canon, but I’m not sure what that is. I’m a sucker for a good Hero’s Journey, and have enjoyed the following titles:
The Hobbit
The Lord of the Rings
The Simarillion (too dense for me)
Ender’s Game
The Wheel of Time ( up through book 6)
Dune
What can I put on audio book while I work in my shop this Winter?

Neil Gaiman reads his own books and does a fantastic job. Neverwhere is particularly fun.
Yahtzee Croshaw is a funny author with great characters. Narrates his own audiobooks.

The Traveler’s Gate Trilogy by Will Wight. Magic is used by calling energy and creatures from other worlds called territories. People who can draw from their territories are called travelers. The first book in the series is House of Blades.
The 2 Necromancers series by L. G. Estrella. Necromancers try to earn a pardon for past crimes by doing odd jobs for a kingdom. The first book in the series is 2 Necromancers, A Bureaucrate, and an Elf.
I LOVED One Dark Window on audio!!!
The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne (and the spin-off) are both excellent as audio. They are urban fantasy. The Seven Kennings by Kevin Hearne is excellent high fantasy with great narration.
The best fantasy audio is of course Dungeon Crawler Carl.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has a really good audio read by Harry Lloyd aka Viserys.
The Blacktongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman – excellent fantasy, great narration
They’re old, so old that I listened to a bunch of them on audio cassette tape but anything from the Discworld series narrated by Tony Robinson.
