What are some suggested chapter books I could read to my son? (turning 3 in December) Of course, I’m not wanting anything complicated, and a simple plot is fine, but I don’t want that to limit any possible ideas.

For context, my wife and I have been reading to him consistently since the beginning, so he has a decent attention span. His vocabulary and comprehension level seems to be slightly above the norm, too. Conversations are what you’d expect from a 2yo, but he will throw a curveball every now and then. I will conclude by saying his memory is astounding. He has many of his children’s books memorized word for word and will literally sit on his chair “reading” to himself.

If I could get any suggestions from parents who have had a similar experience, that would be a plus.

    1. I teach first grade. I think some good chapter books are “Kid from Planet Z” “ Horrible Harry” “magic Bone” I don’t know how much he would understand but those are quite popular with my
      Kids.
