Almost every trans theme fiction book I find is middle grade or YA. The ones I’ve found that aren’t are about trans women. What are some stuff aimed at adults but star trans men and transmasc people in general?

I’d especially prefer a 30+ year old protagonist. Are there even any books about trans men transitioning after being in long term relationships with men, maybe even married?

A classic semi-memior is Stone Butch Blues. The author tells the rough, often terrifying story of being a masc lesbian in the 60s. It’s not a book that pulls any punches.

    2. _All the White Spaces_ by Ally Wilkes

_What Moves the Dead_ by T. Kingfisher

_She Who Became the Sun_ by Shelley Parker-Chan

Great novels, that happen to centre on transmasc adults (though the first and last have some of their childhood). Enjoy!

    3. I’m currently reading a fantasy novel [The Raven Tower](https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/39395857), which has a transmasculine protagonist. It doesn’t scream YA, though I’m sure young adults would still enjoy it. I’d hesitantly call it an adult novel but I’m still near the beginning.

[Manhunt](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/53329296-manhunt) by Gretchen Felker-Martin has a lot of trans characters, but be warned that it does include slurs, graphic sex and violence, and scenes of rape.

    4. If you enjoy memoirs, I’d recommend A Trans Man Walks Into A Gay Bar by Harry Nicholas.

For adult fiction, I would suggest:
      – Future Feeling by Joss Lake (genre bending scifi/fantasy about three adult trans men)
      – Dead Collections by Isaac Fellman (fantasy romance about a trans masc vampire archivist)
      – The Burnt Toast B&B by Heidi Belleau and Rachel Haimowitz (romance between a trans and a cis man)

    5. *The Bruising of Qilwa* by Naseem Jamnia is a fantasy book about a trans masculine-presenting non-binary protagonist and their younger trans brother.
