I hope I can explain this lol. I’m not looking for romance, actually I prefer to avoid the genre all together. I am looking for a book in which the MC (male preferred but not necessary) is already married and intensely loves his wife (touch her and I’ll kill you vibes). Like dark matter by Blake Crouch. I specifically want a MC like Matthew McConaughey in the Gentleman or Leo DiCaprio in Inception.
I’m mostly open to any genre and like fiction with sci-fi or fantasy elements, mystery, thriller, adventure etc. I’d rather avoid literary fiction, romance, epic sci-fi, and historical fiction taking place after the 18th century
