Hi all!
I’m 27 and after almost a decade of not being able to read due to trauma fucking up my attention span, I’ve caught the bug again. I’m trying to ease myself in with easier titles geared to teens as thats the last time I read anything all the way through.
I’m currently working my way thru Harry Potter again, just finished the Hunger Games prequel (just in time for the movie!). So thats the sort of thing I’m looking for. I have a really good library network where I live so I can probably loan almost anything from there.
I love things along the lines of the titles I mentioned above – fantasy, adventure type books. I also loved The Hobbit. The actual LOTR is still a bit intimidating.
The reason I havent progressed much into adult fiction is I really don’t like reading books involving sex scenes, and I’m just not familiar with any good titles/authors etc. So I would love some suggestions, I need some good ones that I’ll get sucked into and have trouble putting down. Adventures in other worlds, magical creatures, mysteries, hit me!

You might like A Wizard of Earthsea and the Earthsea Cycle by extension. There is quite a lot of depth with a lot of thought-provoking elements despite being relatively short.
