My brothers girlfriend, who I adore, is spending Christmas with my family. Last year she got me the most thoughtful gift and I am hoping to do the same this year. I know she wants the hardcover copy of The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller which I am getting her but want to give something else as well. We have very different tastes in books so I was hoping for suggestions here. I know she enjoys historical fiction, some sci fi, and some of the books from Reese Witherspoons book club. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Maybe something from Robert Graves – _I, Claudius_ or _Hercules My Shipmate_ (the latter would be an interesting companion to _Song of Achilles_ since it’s also a retelling of Greek Mythology).
Lovely War by Julie Berry is an historical fiction set during one of the world wars (it’s escaping me at the moment which) told from the perspective of the greek gods. I loved it. And it’s a beautiful cover for gifting, too
