I don’t want quiz books or books with one liners or paragraphs. I’m looking for books that go into depth into 1 or more topics, and within that you come across a lot of interesting facts and trivia, the type that stay with you for a long time.

As somebody who loves food and cooking: Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat by Samin Nosrat does an incredible job of explaining what these 4 things do in food, and some of the science behind it. An excellent book full of food/cooking information and facts.
