I’m thinking of getting my cousin a book for Christmas. He enjoys video game history and his favorite consoles are Playstations. I wanted to ask for any recommendations on good coffee table books about Playstation, or studio history or just any general cool video game book that you may know about? Thanks you for the suggestions:)

Does he like the Civilization games? Maybe [this one](https://bookshop.org/p/books/sid-meier-s-memoir-a-life-in-computer-games-sid-meier/16712356?ean=9781324005872&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fsidmeiersmemoir.com%2F&source=IndieBound&title=Sid+Meier%27s+Memoir%21%3A+A+Life+in+Computer+Games)
Since playstation is his favorite console, maybe [these](https://www.amazon.com/Art-Last-Us-Part-II/dp/1506713769/ref=pd_bxgy_d_sccl_1/143-5135327-0447143?pd_rd_w=LVhU8&content-id=amzn1.sym.7746dde5-5539-43d2-b75f-28935d70f100&pf_rd_p=7746dde5-5539-43d2-b75f-28935d70f100&pf_rd_r=9P60WNJVCJ05WCJX81GZ&pd_rd_wg=eNeZo&pd_rd_r=5538521d-ff98-4269-bdb6-5241a89f4a79&pd_rd_i=1506713769&psc=1). There are others like it, not just TLOU, but I liked the cover of this one best.
I don’t know about PlayStation specifically but check out Masters of Doom
If he hasn’t read Ready Player One, would be my suggestion.
If they like Resident Evil you could get them “Itchy, Tasty: An Unofficial History of Resident Evil” by Alex Aniel. It’s a pretty good book that goes in depth on the creation of the franchise.
