I’m looking for informative books about evil and/or unsavory queer people in history, and the general history of fictional queer villains in media and how they’ve evolved. I’m also not opposed to memoirs or biographies such as 99 years plus life.

“Valerie Solanas: The Defiant Life of the Woman Who Wrote SCUM (and Shot Andy Warhol)” by Brianne Fahs is a great dive into Solanas’s life. Fahs does a good job curating her writing, so you get the sense of her manic patter without having to dive head-first into mental-illness-art. It really impacted how I view mental illness, outsider art, and manifestos.
