where studying is portrayed as something beautiful or anticipated! for example, i read everything i never told you and it scared me so much i ended up studying like crazy for a few months lol. also, in a little life, a character speaks about math and law in such a memorable, beautiful way that i started seeing math through his lens, where it was a refuge rather than something i had to push through.

It’s more of a web original (though now available as a kindle book, but Mother of Learning.
But studying isn’t beautiful. It’s why I still have nightmares 15 years after graduating college and 20 years after graduating high school that I’ve missed class and am going to fail the final or assignment that is due.
This is a whole genre, but dark/light academia romanticizes education and scholarship.
