    Hey everyone,

I am looking for recommendations on modern (written in the 21st century) sci fi stories that touch on philosophical implications (e.g. like Solaris does). I have read Trisolaris (liked it, but did not love it) and Never Let me Go (LOVED it) and the expanse series.

Happy for any recommendations, best selling or underground, does not matter!

    1. Le Guin was mostly the (late) twentieth century, but her writing is as modern and as incisive as anything you’ll find today. If you haven’t already, start there. *The Left Hand of Darkness* and *The Lathe of Heaven* are my favourites, but she wrote a lot and it’s all worth reading.

    2. Can’t go wrong with essentially anything by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Elder Race is a good option to start with.
