I have been scrolling the kindle top suggestions and they just… ugh nothing appeals to me. I download samples and they don’t draw me in, they’re boring.. are there no page turners anymore?? Please suggest me a book that is not a murder mystery, not a shallow love story, just really amazing storytelling. The last book that I LOVED was outlander series and I read that in 2017 😭

Hamnet or The Marriage Portrait – Maggie O’Farrell. I prefer Hamnet but there is a slow down of the pace in the middle. Where as The Marriage Portrait keeps a more consistent pace.

If you liked Outlander, check out The Lost Queen series by Signe Pike
I read both Station Eleven and Birnam Wood in a day. I know some people find Birnam Wood to be slow because it’s a lot of character development, but I was hooked and intrigued
Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurty
The first Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson
