Hey everyone, I’m curating a reading list and these are some of the things im looking for:
feel free to suggest anything
Sobriety (1 remaining):
1. Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing: A Memoir
– I’d like one that doesn’t make alcohol an enemy but aims to improve one’s relationship with it and understanding of it
Creating meaningful friendships/communication (4):
– Looking for books that focus on asking good questions, understanding people, being persuasive (but not manipulative)
– Most of all, I want to work on my listening skills
– How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen by David Brooks was a great example of this
Romance (3):
– Dating effectively, communicating effectively, being mutually fulfilled, being appropriately flirtatious, choosing a partner, etc.
Finding career fulfillment & financial success (3):
– Finding what you want to do as a career, earning/saving/allocating/investing
Thank you
