Any suggestions for books like Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Witcher, Harry Potter…? With good world building and also not too much romance. Thank you!
Yes please! I can recommend the blade itself. Its a good book with some unforgettable character eg Sand dan Glotka. And its the start of an adventure series! Joe Abercrombie is a great writer No YA fantasy at all. Its actually quite dark

Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke!! It’s a little slow going in the first few chapters but it does pick up massively and it’s my favourite book, ever. Set in the regency era with magic and some of the best characters I’ve ever seen.
I’d also recommend Piranesi by the same author for the sheer beauty of the world it depicts, definitely going to haunt me for some time.
And finally, The Seven Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton. This is something of a murder mystery but it does fall into the fantasy and adventure category as the main character switches bodies throughout the story. You get a really good sense of the characters, the book is a good length and it’s wonderfully twisty.

*Nettle and Bone* by T. Kingfisher is a great standalone fantasy novel, which subverts standard fantasy tropes. It’s very imaginative, the world feels vivid and lively. There is romance, but it does not play a major role.
*His Dark Materials* trilogy by Philip Pullman has a vast, magical world. The main characters are children, so there’s no romance between them. The novels are focused more on adventure than on romance in general.

Codex Alera by Jim Butcher is great. Had romance but it’s not central to the plot

This might be a bit off topic from what you are searching for (more sci-fi), but Dungeon Crawler Carl.
