I found that Siddhartha is a very nice book. Some people would argue that its lying on the edge between profoundly and meaningless, and I accept that argument, its not every person’s cup of tea. I really felt like i was walking with him through the forest and hearing his thoughts. And I have realised that a big part is the writer, but I would like to know some other writers that write in an introspective psychological – yet simple – manner. Bonus points if there are connections to nature.

Maybe [A Pilgrim at Tinker Creek](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilgrim_at_Tinker_Creek) by Annie Dillard.
Or maybe [The Razor’s Edge](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Razor%27s_Edge) by Somerset Maugham.
