Ok, but seriously. My dad just read The Road by Cormac McCarthy, and he loved it because the father in the book was shown as competent and caring. My dad has always hated the stereotype of fathers being kind of dumb, fun parents who only do what the mom says. So I’m looking for any books that have a strong father figure that is heavily involved in the narrative. He’s pretty open, so genre doesn’t matter. And yeah. That’s all.
