I need help finding a new book to read! I’ve been in a slump for a couple of months and I’ve tried so many samples of books and can’t find one that hooks me. I’m really into mysteries, thrillers, fantasy, and a romantic subplot is a huge plus for me. Books I’ve loved before are the Darkfever series, a Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Acotar, and Verity. Thank you in advance!

The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner is great! It’s an easy read, but still very captivating!

    2. Just finished divine rivals this morning. There are some fantasy elements, though is more character driven. Definitely romance. There is also a WWI time similarity. An absolutely beautiful story!

The Southern Vampire Mysteries, also known as The True Blood Novels and The Sookie Stackhouse Novels, is a series of books written by bestselling author Charlaine Harris

its about a young waitress that suffers from uncontrollable telepathy in a world where vampires have decided to reveal their existence to the humans

    4. The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides will definitely keep you at the edge of your seat. He also wrote The Maidens not as good but still a good thriller.

Colleen Hoover writes good romance novels.

Jodi Picoult writes books on controversial topics. One of my favorites from her is The Pact.

If you liked ACOTAR you would like Crescent City. I’m currently reading TOG and it’s more of an action series vs romance.
