I’ve been doing some writing of my own and trying to do it in the third person, but I’m finding it a bit difficult. I tried to go to authors I enjoy for inspiration but found out most of them write in the first person a lot.
Is not like I haven’t read books in the third person, but for some reason, I’m having a hard time coming up with names apart from Stephen King or Brandon Sanderson.
What authors do you think do third-person masterfully?

Anthony Doerr
Jane Austen does narration so well. The narrator is sly, witty, and incisive. It’s not uncommon for 19th century British literature to have voice-y narration where the third person narrator makes comments on the story to the reader.
