Into The Wolves’ Den by Jon Athan is beyond insane, but seriously, trigger warnings for just about everything. To say it’s dark is an understatement.

Dungeon Crawler Carl. Violent, vulgar, and nonstop chaos. It’s a series, I got sucked in quick.

Depending on what sort of crazy you want Robert Ranking might suit. You could try one of the stnad alones like Snuff fiction, or for the committed (you’ll have to supply your own mental health professionals) you could go for one of the series like the Armageddon trillogy:
1. Armageddon: The Musical
1. They Came and Ate Us
1. The Suburban Book of the Dead.

“The Price You Pay” by Aidan Truhen is pretty bonkers (and it’s not even clear who Aidan Truhen “really” is). I loved it.
Anything by J. G. Ballard is guaranteed to be wacked out.
The classic gonzo journalists are fun, for example “Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas” (the book is better).
Thomas Pynchon can get nuts too–don’t jump into “Gravity’s Rainbow” first, though. I highly recommend starting with “Vineland” first because the jokes and references are more modern so you’ll get more of them. Makes it funnier.

No one has suggested Kurt Vonnegut yet?? Try Cat’s Cradle by him. That one’s insane.
