I’ve tested several Kindle models and with most of them I noticed that the upper half was usually cooler in color temperature than the lower half. This almost drove me crazy when reading.
Do you know of any models where this is as little noticeable as possible? Except for the Kindle without lighting lol

I’ve never seen that. Maybe in older models, but all of my Paperwhites have been even toned.
Maybe the Kobo? They use Tru Ink Technology and its all from what I can tell, pretty even.
