I am looking for books that promote, embrace, and discuss femininity & traditional roles in a positive and healthy way. (movies too while you’re here!)
BONUS if it is in a traditional old school way where the “impact of modern society” is far in the background or non-existent.
I’m talking like country home living, stay at home mom, many kids, maybe church on Sundays, freshly baked pies, beautiful aprons and traditional clothes, dad works and so does mom, but they have different roles.. kids AND mom are happy and greet dad… happy families. Not corrupt.
Where life is different, not perfect, but, it is simple good and slow the way it should be… to paint the picture.
Does not have to be a novel,
(I am currently reading The Donkey Principle, a secret to long-haul living in a race horse world, by Rachel A. Ridge)

Little House on the Prairie.
The Waltons
pretty much every Amish novel ever. books by Beverly Lewis, Wanda Brunstetter, Shelley Shepard Gray are probably a good place to start.
they’re surprisingly popular at my local library
just don’t look up actual Amish communities, or books like Women Talking (inspired by real events). it may ruin ur enjoyment.
Read *Domostroy* lol. You will understand what
>”traditional feminine roles, and traditional family values”
really were.
*Anna Karenina* by Tolstoy?
