So I am hoping someone could help me out with a few or even 1 recommendation for a thriller genre book or author. I am a big fan of Gillian Flynn’s books and was hoping to find another thriller author that I would also enjoy. I have attempted to read Lisa Jewel’s books (“Then She Was Gone” and The Night She Disappeared”) but I was severely disappointed. I do want to note I did enjoy “Then She Was Gone” but I did not get the same feeling of excitement and disgust in comparison to when I was reading “Gone Girl” and “Sharp Objects”. Maybe its because Lisa Jewel’s characters are not as unhinged as Gillian Flynn’s?
