Three years ago, someone asked about contemporary books that would stand the test of time and become classics. Most of the books mentioned were written in English, with very few in other languages. This is why I ask: which novels written in the last 20-30 years that are not in English will become classics?

The Känguru chronicles are pretty good but I don’t know if they exist in another language. They are German
These were the ones that came to mind for me, although I’m limited to works that have been translated into English:
– Roberto Bolaño’s *2666* & *The Savage Detectives*
– Olga Tokarczuk’s *Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead*
– The works of Elena Ferrante
– WG Sebald’s *Rings of Saturn* & *Austerlitz*
– The works of Jon Fosse
– The works of Annie Ernaux
– The works of Karl Ove Knausgard, particularly *My Struggle*.
– Laszlo Krasnahorkai’s *Melancholy of Resistance* & *Satantango*.
– Can Xue is super popular but I haven’t read her.
This is such a broad question, but I’m curious who else stands out.
I predict the three body problem which will become even more popular after its TV adaptation
