I’m going through a rough patch, sleep-wise. When I’m up at night one strategy I have for drifting off is to listen to audiobooks without a clear plot on a topic that doesn’t excite me too much. That way if I doze off I don’t miss anything and the story isn’t such that it keeps me awake wondering what will happen next. I love memoirs for this (just finished Molly Shannon’s) or travel essays (Paris in Love was perfect).
What books do you recommend that aren’t too interesting and not so boring I’ll be looking for something else? Especially looking for travel and memoirs.
