I want to read something that has a tattoo magic system, preferably without excessive romance. I found Inked by Rener but it seems like half fantasy half romance.
I prefer full-on fantasy while romance is obviously fine, i’d prefer it to not take up half the book (obviously I’m guessing the amount of romance in Inked. If it’s actually good, please let me know and I’ll maybe give it a chance).

The closest I can think of is He Who Fights with Monsters. Tattoo fighting fantasy stuff is there, but it’s honestly such a small part of it that it’s almost hard to remember it’s there at all. It also doesn’t make an appearance in the first couple books. It’s still a fun read.
The Blacktongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman features a magic system based on tattoos, but there’s a fair amount of romance.
If I remember correctly, the Iron Druid series was like this. Super fun too, and romance was not much of a thing at all. Just fun!
The Warded Man by Peter V Brett
It’s the first book in the Demon Cycle series. It takes a bit to get to, but magic tattoo “wards” become a big part of combat.
But either stop after book 1 or definitely after book 2 to avoid excessive sex/romance.
