For me, it was “The Name of the Wind”. This captivating fantasy novel follows the life of Kvothe, a gifted young musician and magician, as he recounts his adventures and pursuit of knowledge.
There are a few others depending on the stage of my life, but everyone gets motivated by different people, places, and things!

I read a book called The Midnight Library that led me to a book called Dark Matter. Both were very centered around alternative realities, which inspired me to get into quantum mechanics. There’s some super cool and mind-blowing science out there.
Hope Jahren’s memoir Lab Girl made me excited about botany all over again. Her enthusiasm glows on the page.
