I just finished watching Dorohedoro on Netflix and absolutely loved in. I’m looking for books that has that dystopian feel, division between classes thing. I adore the relationship between Nikaido and Caiman. Nikaido is a very wholesome character with her own Gyoza shop and all that. I just loved it overall. I’m looking for the same feels. Thank you for your suggestions!

I absolutely love this anime! Love their funky relationship and what a stellar character Nikaido is. I also love the relationship of the plumbers and the huge muscular girl. Def need more stories with this character style/relationship. Ive been waiting for the next season for years!

Book wise, Fahrenheit 451 has the dystopian feelings but not so much about friendship. The last days of new Paris is pretty good too.
Anime wise you might wanna check out Blood Blockade Battlefront. Future city No. 6 has the dystopian vibes but not as lighthearted. Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryoko is also about wholesome story between two girls in doomsday.
