Hello,
I recently watched Hotel Portofino on PBS, and I loved it. I wasn’t sure if the depictions of the ‘roaring 20s’ were historically accurate and I’d like to build some knowledge of this era by reading historical fiction novels, although I am not too skilled of a reader…
… I vaguely remember from a literature class that maybe Hemingway wrote a story set during this time? But I am not sure if there are any titles anyone can reccommend.

M: Son of the Century is supposed to be phenomenal, those who’ve read it rave about how good it is and how much they understand now.
*My Brilliant Friend* by Elena Ferrante!!! Beautifully translated by Ann Goldstein.
It’s the first of the four “Neopolitan Novels” and they’re all so spectacularly wonderful.
