Hi! I was searching for a booklist about so called “must read” books and unfortunately, they mostly recommended only books from white-male western books. I don’t say they are not worth to read, but I think the perspective gets little narrow and truth to be told, little boring.
So please, recommend me the so-called “must read” books from around the world by different authors with different backgrounds! Or if you have found this kind of list made, please guide me towards it!

In Germany one of the must reads is “The Perfume” from Patrick Süskind
And in Russian “Leonardo’s Handwriting” by Dina Rubina. I don’t think it’s well known and weather you can even find a copy but it’s one of my favorite books
